With over three decades in the real estate community, affordable housing is an issue that is of great concern to us. The health of our neighborhoods and our economy need affordable housing for all.

A number of factors can be attributed to the housing shortage – builders leaving the industry during the Great Recession, an increase in land costs and building supplies, an increase in permitting time and costs, and lack of skilled labor. In Whatcom County, all of those factors are in play, leaving our community vulnerable.

Our mission is to help alleviate the housing crisis in Western Washington by collaborating with stakeholders and helping drive projects forward that will get people under roofs faster.
