BELLINGHAM, WA – February 5, 2026 – The Augusta model home at Muirfield has been honored with two Silver Awards at The Nationals, the most prestigious new home community awards presented annually by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
The Augusta received Silver Awards in two categories: Best Single-Family Detached Model Home 2,501 to 3,000 square feet and Best Single-Family Detached Home for a 55+ Buyer. These honors recognize the highest achievement in new home construction, celebrating excellence in design, creativity, and quality across the building industry.
A diverse panel of industry professionals selected the winners from over 1,100 entries nationwide. Silver Award recipients are finalists for The Nationals Gold Awards, which will be announced at NAHB’s International Builders’ Show in Orlando, Florida on February 17, 2026.
The Augusta and four additional floorplans at Muirfield were designed and developed by Denise Lones, owner of The Lones Group Inc and the New Home Strategists. The Lones Group Inc/New Home Strategists was one of only two companies in Washington State to receive Silver Awards in 2026.
Three floorplans are currently available at Muirfield: the Sussex, the Dunbar, and the Granville. The development will host public open houses:
- February 15 from 1:00–4:00 p.m.
- February 21 from 11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
