Denise Lones

Denise Lones’ three-plus decades of experience in the real estate and new home sales industry is an asset sought-after by those who want results. Her specialties are strategic marketing, business analysis, branding, new home project planning and product development. Training sales managers to build winning teams is an area of focus and she is an expert at teaching the art of closing and follow-up.

Denise’s background in residential real estate sales and management includes an impressive list of awards. Using custom marketing campaigns and business development systems she personally developed, she was consistently among the highest producing REALTORS® in a marketplace of 3,000+ agents. She then went on to brokerage management and led her office to the number one position locally, even beating production at larger offices in Bellevue.

Denise holds the esteemed M.I.R.M. designation from the National Association of Home Builders- the top national achievement for new home marketing. She also holds the CMP AND Master CSP designations from the NAHB, and is a certified CSP and IRM instructor. She has also served as a new home development judge for NAHB and also serves on the 55+ Housing Industry Council. In addition, she is the chairperson of her local chapter of Professional Women in Homebuilding. Her latest development, Muirfield at Semiahmoo, has been turning heads in Whatcom County and beyond.

Denise is also the author of numerous white papers, an e-book on focus groups, and in 2011 was nominated by Inman News as one of the 100 Most Influential Real Estate Leaders.

Shauna Naf

B.A., A.A. Visual Communications, ADU Specialist, REALTOR®

Shauna has spent the last two-and-a-half decades as a visual impact expert. She is a highly skilled graphic designer, project manager, and research aficionado. Although Shauna immediately found her niche in property marketing upon joining The Lones Group, in her prior career as a graphic designer and entrepreneur, she had found creative drive in the projects she tackled for local builders, developers, and architects in addition to multiple personal remodeling projects.

Whether it is developing a logo and brand identity for a new community, writing content and collateral for on-site sales materials and development website, developing captivating materials and a system for sales team follow-up, organizing spreadsheets, creating a signage plan, or even coordinating a big project such as a builder upgrade package or writing a financing proposal for a developer Shauna loves the challenge, and is focused on getting the job done like no other.

As a REALTOR, Shauna holds the Pricing Strategy Advisor and Real Estate Investing Certifications. She holds the ADU Specialist accreditation from Earth Advantage and is viewed as a local voice on ADU and middle housing strategies. She is also involved in Government Affairs for the Building Industry Association of Whatcom County and Whatcom Association of REALTORS and serves on the Whatcom Housing Alliance Task Force.

Shauna is also very involved in community organizations including the Rotary Club of Bellingham in which she currently serves as the Membership Committee chair, she has taken the lead in PR for the Club, also serves on the Youth Exchange program, and has a leading role in the Club’s website. Professionally, she has served on the Visual Communications Advisory Committee for Whatcom Community College’s graphic arts program since 2009, and has volunteered her time, helping shape the design curriculum for tomorrow’s design community. She also serves as president for her HOA which she overhauled, creating new transparent systems and processes. Inspiring others to take on more volunteer opportunities in Whatcom County and beyond is a passion of Shauna’s.
